- Quilting, Cross-Stitch & Country Crafts" - copyright 1982. This soft cover book
is 41 pages and is part of the "Vanessa-Ann Collection". Freelance designer
Trice Liljenquist Boerens, who is as capable with the sewing machine as she is with a
paint brush, applies traditional skills to her graphic designs for this book. Woodcuts,
watercolors, soft sculpture, silk screens and etchings are art forms with which she also
works. Her quilts and cross-stitch designs of flowers and shells are dramatic additions to
other books from The Vanessa-Ann Collection. Trice, who is 25 and a graphic arts graduate
of Brigham Young University, is a native of Ogden, Utah, where she lives with her husband
and son.
